Steam Chocolate Cake

Assalamu'alaikum wbt and Hello there.. ^^, Today I would like to share with you a recipes which I got it from my lil cousin sister.. But I really don't know from which cook book is it from.. So I DO NOT OWN this recipes, but I like to share because its delicious. I made this for my mother birthday. Hope you like it like I love it.. ^^, carry on.


Ingredient A.
  • 1 3/4 cup caster sugar (any will do as long as its caster sugar )
  • 1 cup of coco powder ( any will do as log its coco powder )
  • 1 cans evaporated milk ( I use Gold Coin )
  • 1 cup cooking oil ( any will do )
  • 1/2 cup whole milk ( I use Gold Coin )
 
Ingredient B.
  • 1 1/4 cup flour ( any will do )
  • 1 teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda ( any will do )
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder ( any will do )

Add in later Ingredient.
  • 4 room temperature eggs

Topping.
  • 250gm cooking chocolate ( you have to find the exact the same kind )
  • 200ml evaporated milk ( I put in 230ml [ I just follow my Intuitions ] )
  • A thumb size butter ( just a lil to make that topping look shiny )

Cooking methods: 
  1. Cook ingredients A to a boil and thickens.
  2. Then let it cool. After a while ingredients A is cool.
  3. Beat 4 eggs until its fluffy.
  4. Put the eggs in the ingredients A and stir and then finally enter ingredients B.
  5. Pour into tupperware [ Half full ]. Closed tightly the tupperware container
  6. Steam it for 1Hour 15 minutes.
  7. Let it rest at least for 2 to 3hour before spreading it with your topping.
  8. Find a lager tupperware that can fit in the finish result.. ( I have 2 cakes[ see descriptions at pictures] )
  9. Make your topping, first put in all the ingredients before turning on the heat. make sure to continue stirring til the butter melts.
  10. Pour some of the topping in side your container, put in your cakes ( I have 2 ) and pour in the rest on top of your cakes..make sure whole cakes is covered with the topping.
  11. 2 options to serve the cake is
  • serve it hot after pouring in the topping.
  • serve it cold, after pouring in the topping, Put it in your refrigerator not the freezer. :D if you keep it for half of day.. it will be just nice.. and yummylicious!

Cake is a lil bit bitter, because of the coco, so I suggest that you find a sweet cooking chocolate to make this topping..and it will be just perfect. ^^,

I have put it in the tupperwear together with the toppings.

One side ugly one side perfect..haha.. This happens because I don't wait for it too cool. T_T
Lets eat it!
Personally I love it either way hot or cold. If its hot.. I like to cut it in to the piece that I like and pour the hot topping, and put an vanilla ice cream.. yum2.. ^^, . This one I just made it cold.. its yummy too..you can put in some decoration on top depend if you like the colorful chocolate rice.. I forgot what it call as..hrum.. anyways..
